The Mentoring Partnership’s Training Institute offers a wide variety of resources for mentor programs, workplaces, professional associations, and education, government and faith institutions to start, maintain, and sustain mentoring programs.
New training workshops for 2008! Culturally Smart Relationships and Tools for Mentoring Adolescents will help new & experienced mentors (and mentor program providers) develop and strengthen their mentoring relationships.
The Training Institute offers an Elements of Effective Practice training opportunity each fall, spring & summer. This training provides individuals and organizations with tools to design a responsible mentoring program based on the MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership’s Elements of Effective Practice. This series also provides a solid foundation of knowledge regarding mentoring best practices for new and veteran staff of mentoring programs.
Want to get a mentor matched but you don’t have another training coming up? Send your volunteer to an MPM mentor training! In addition, we will offer a train-the-trainer workshop focused on developing and delivering your own quality mentor training.
