Waiting for mentor

Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota recruits caring adults to help introduce a child to new ideas and opportunities through mentoring.  Here’s one of the kids who could use a mentor’s help.

First Name:  John

Age:  10

Interests:  John enjoys chess, basketball, and football.  He is in 4^th grade and his favorite subjects are science, math, and reading.

Personality/Characteristics:  John is talkative, polite, and inquisitive.  He is a wonderful young man who helps his family around the house.  John is allergic to cats and dogs.  His mom would like a Christian, active male role model to share activities and interests with her son. 

Goals/Dreams:  John wants to improve his basketball skills and someday become President.  John says he would like to get to know a mentor and learn a lot from him.
