Michael Brandwein (michaelbrandwein.com) is an internationally acclaimed expert on working with young people. He has presented on six continents and in all 50 states. Known for his creative, energetic presentations featuring his practical, “use-it-immediately” techniques, Michael is a frequent national keynoter for organizations serving youth professionals, educators, parents, and young people. Michael wrote and presented three Emmy® award-winning television programs on communicating with youth and has written four best-selling books for professionals who lead and develop positive relationships with young people. Michael’s varied background includes writing and hosting a live presentation with Jim Henson’s Muppets for HBO and the American Library Association to encourage young people to read. Michael’s Juris Doctor Degree is from the University of Chicago and he lives with his wife and two sons in the Chicago area.
