To match a caring adult with a youth ages 6-18 years to provide a positive role model in their lives.
Page Education Foundation Adults mentors are partnered with college students of color. They encourage the students in a service project with K-8th grade children, which is required in exchange for their college scholarship. Adult mentors also encourage the college students in their own studies.
U of MN Extension Service – Big Stone County 4-H Promotes positive youth development through creating supportive environments for culturally diverse youth and adults to reach their fullest potential. Six traditional 4-H community clubs, an after school Cloverbud (K-3) program in two elementary schools and individual 4-H memberships have been established. Shortterm particiapation as a volunteer is available for camps and project meetings with topics related to special interests/hobbies and lifeskill development.
