eMentors provides students with caring adult e-mentors to help them link their learning to the world of work. There is solid evidence that effective mentoring programs can change the direction of a youth's life. E-mentoring offers students the chance to develop a relationship with one or more adults, other than parents and teachers, who become friends, role models and advocates for them. Goals include: Students understand the relationship between learning and their future career.  Students have the opportunity to interact with a business professional, gain exposure to how technology is used in the workplace, and to connect the class curriculum to its relevance in the workplace.  Students feel the support of the community and connect with an adult interested in their success after high school.  Students gain skills in electronic communication.

Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is about sharing simple, magical moments with a child. Tossing a football, baking cookies, going for bike rides. Each of us as a child had a special person who opened doors and widened our horizons on the world. By being a Big, you can do the same for a child, and you will both be forever changed by the experience.

 Boy Scouts of America - Northern Star Juvenile Diversion
The Northern Star Juvenile Diversion Programs goal is to provide a positive alternative to formal court proceedings for motivated first-time offenders. Through structured activities and community service, the program aims to reduce the recidivism rate among these youthful offenders. The diversion office has developed a balanced program of meetings and community service with learning about the court and legal system, conflict resolution, making better choices, drugs and , bullying, and planning for the future. Young offenders facing criminal charges will have the opportunity to participate in the program which, through structured activities, aims to improve attitudes about the legal system, self-image, teaching better methods of communication, conflict resolution, and preventing a decision to break the law again.

 Bridge Builders for Kids
Bridge Builders for Kids is a Christian mentoring organization whose vision is to end second-generational incarceration by connecting children of prisoners and their families to a loving network that will encourage and inspire them to achieve their God-given potential. Bridge Builders for Kids equips adult mentors with the training and support they need to be a positive, stable and meaningful friend. By allowing a child to be a part of your everyday activities, life skills are learned and life-enhancing friendships are built.

 Camp Fire USA Minnesota Council
Camp Fire offers out of school time programs.  We partner with schools, churches, parks, community centers, etc.  The "clubs" are a small group of young people working with trained staff.

Adopted adults are needed to mentor adopted youth, with the hopes of creating a unique relationship in order to build youth self-esteem and affirm their cultural heritage through positive role modeling

 Elk River Area School District
This is a student to student school-based mentoring program designed as a class which can be taken by mentors for class credit. The Mentors go through a four-week training course in order to develop necessary mentoring skills. They are then matched with students from the local jr. high and elementary schools whom they will mentor for the entire school year. Mentors receive on-going training and support throughout the school year.

The Foster Grandparent Program is a program for any elderly persons to serve children with exceptional and special needs who need the love and attention of an adult.
